Violet has one shot at her dream of assisting Mrs. Hensley, the greatest inventor in Coveland. If she wins, the prize money will give her family a better life. But Violet missed the last coach that would take her to the competition, forcing her to find another way to attend. Violet isn’t the only one whose dreams are slipping away, and in choosing to do what is right, she may receive more than she bargained for.
